SolidGrooves has made a huge impact in their first season on the island, the no nonsense party crew today announced it is extending their run into September.

A loyal band of 'Groovers' has built up throughout this summer taking the White Isle by storm and making VistaClub the must go to place for Thursday nights.

The space itself is a personal and intimate one that allows you to get up close and personal with the world class DJs every week, who in turn have served up some amazing sets suited to the occasion. The SolidGrooves Residents themselves have built something of a legendary status for this event with the likes of Michael Bibi, PAWSA, Dennis Cruz & Detlef consistently rocking the dance floor for the loyal Groovers.

A killer sound system means each beat is crystal clear and can be felt pounding in your chest, in turn the night has offered something fresh and new to the island bringing back Ibiza's off location party vibe as well as making for many magical memories.

The final parties will now run through September 8th, 15th and 22nd, with the inclusion of some massive secret guests joining the crew.

Previous surprise guests this summer have included James Zabiela, Route 94 & Steve Bug so you can bet your bottom dollar these are not going to disappoint.

Also joining the extended antics will be some of house and techno’s finest DJs and the much loved SolidGrooves residents such as AudioJack, Anek, Dennis Cruz, Dense & Pika, Detlef, Maze & Masters, Michael Bibi, PAWSA, Reelow and more.

Privilege Ibiza and Solid grooves will be hosting the greatest DJ competition in the world as BURN Residency comes back to the White Island for its 6th consecutive year this summer. London label and party Solid Grooves in charge of Thursdays at the amazing glass house that is Vista Club will play host to the 3 finalists chosen at the end of the BURN Residency Bootcamp next month

BURN Residency is the world´s biggest and most innovative talent support program which has gained international recognition and respect by connecting some of the hottest names in electronic music such as mentors Carl Cox, John Digweed, Uner and Philipp Straub with an army of fans and music aficionados as well as some of the top clubs in Ibiza.

BURN Residency provides its contestants with a once in a lifetime opportunity to launch a career in electronic music. During the intensive 10 day Bootcamp the 26 finalists will have the chance to meet major industry players and be mentored by some of the world´s most prominent figures in electronic music while facing challenges set to test their talent, potential and skill.

Solid Grooves will host the 3 finalists chosen at the end of the bootcamp who have the remainder of the season to prove themselves and to show that they have what it takes to claim the ultimate victory : the grand prize of 100.000 EUR to be invested in a career leading to superstardom! The 2014 BURN Residency winner, Javi Row, is living proof that talent and hard work pays off. With gigs at major global festivals in 2015 such as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland Belgium, Awakenings ADE and signed by SafeHouse Management, beside Carl Cox Javi Row´s career has really taken off after winning the BURN Residency.

The Ibiza 2016 summer season is more than in full swing with tourists, workers and residents alike partying until the early hours of the morning at their favourite nights on the island. One event in particular has stood out this year. Quickly making waves and threatening the roof of Vista Club at Privilege since its opening party 6 weeks ago is UK brand Solid Grooves. They have taken the island by storm with their impressive headliners, super talented residents and not forgetting the special vibes at their events, all cherished by their 'Groover' following, and this is only their first Ibiza season.

On July 14th we headed down to the beautiful Vista space to experience one of the most hyped nights on the island, and boy was the line up an unmissable one! Jacob Husley opened proceedings at midnight dropping a set of warm up grooves that got the crowd excited for what was to come. Next to take control of the decks was Michael Bibi, and oh my, did he play a monster selection of up tempo beats and bass that even had revellers jumping on their friends shoulders to show appreciation. His set included his own productions such 'Labyrinth' and soon to be released 'Be Mine' which received huge appreciation from the Groovers. As Michael Bibi handed over to Steve Bug, we were all holding on to the edge of our seats in huge anticipation to see the music legend perform. Steve Bug exceeded all expectations. His deep techno sounds had the room at boiling point and his energy was infectious as he jumped and bounced his shoulder length hair to the mesmerising beats. Definitely a performance to remember.

Pawsa took the crowd through a solid set of his own music productions as well as deep basslines, showcasing what Solid Grooves are all about, and had fans videoing his performance throughout. It was now 5am, and Detlef jumped on to carry us through to the infamous Vista sunrise. He did not waste time in keeping the energy up with this high octane track selections which kept revellers on their feet throughout, all in awe of his music skills. As sunrise approached, the room was still at high numbers as confetti rocketed in to the happy faces of the Groovers.

Thursdays have never been the same since Solid Grooves landed at Vista, and we cannot wait go back for another dose of the spectacular party.

Solid Grooves to Host Vista Club at Privilege Every Thursday

‘London label and party Solid Grooves is heading to Ibiza for a second sizzling summer. The much loved party and label will take up residency each and every Thursday at the hotter-than-hot Vista Club at Privilege. Following on from an impressive season in Ibiza last year, the 2016 season kicks off on June 9th and will raise the bar once more.

Privilege´s Vista Club is a breathtaking club with big glass walls allowing views out over the White Isle. When the sun comes up, it makes for a magical setting that is an essential Ibiza experience, especially with such great light and sound and Solid Grooves’ top headliners.

The aim here will be to bring back a hedonistic spirit away from the beaten track. Helping achieve that will be top international DJs old and new from the worlds of house and tech, plus a crack team of residents that know how to work a floor and balance a night perfectly. This includes Solid Grooves Records co founder and inventive tech house artist PAWSA, top tech duo and Lost Records pair Leftwing & Kody, Moon Harbour’s on form star Detlef, plus Solid Grooves very own Dennis Cruz and founder Michael Bibi.

Says Michael on the move for 2016: "We are all very excited for the big move over to Vista Privilege this summer.  The team has been working hard, we have some amazing guest artists and a strong SolidGrooves crew for the season.  The venue in my eyes is one of the most exciting spaces on the island for an intimate 'off location' vibe but still has everything you need for a serious party! We will be sure to have a few special surprises & magical sunrise moments when the sun comes through those glass walls!”

Solid Grooves Opening Party at Vista Club - a smashing success

On June 9th, hundreds of excitable Ibiza revellers joined the mammoth queue in to the highly anticipated opening night of Solid Grooves at Vista Club, Privilege.  As attendees danced through the club entrance and experienced the huge oversized glass windows that circulated them, there was a notable buzz in the air at the thought of witnessing the infamous 360 sunrise that Vista uniquely offers.  

Detlef opened proceedings with a solid set of his usual up beat tech house vibes sending the floor in to a warm up groove. Solid Grooves resident Pawsa stepped to the decks next bringing the crew's recognisable sound and exciting the crowd for what the night had to come. Next up was underground hero Subb-An who delivered intelligent deep progressive beats to the fist pumping full-house.  

The music was quickly put to its pace by Huxley, who took over with his high tempo peak time groovers loved by the entire room. The atmosphere was electric and no gap could be seen on the dance floor. The secret guest of the night was none other than James Zabiela, who had a fully engrossed crowd watching his mind blowing live performance with admiration. At one point he had the entire club on the floor for a sit down! The full room bounced off his excitable energy and his performance will definitely be one to remember. 

Solid Grooves main man Michael Bibi had big shoes to fill following Zabiela's high octane performance, however he had the crowd in a trance as the sun began to rise over the club, rays piercing through the glass windows. For the closing set of the night Bibi did not disappoint, showcasing what Solid Grooves are all about.  

With their unique underground sound paired with their madly devoted team, Solid Grooves are quickly making waves and have acquired a dedicated following of Groovers! The success of the opening party has created a hype across the White Isle and beyond, with people itching to experience the scenes they've witnessed across all the media traction.  To put simply, Thursdays in Ibiza will never be the same...
